I contacted Sir Grout to consult on our travertine in the entry and dining rooms after a very unfortunate experience with another contractor.

After we had some flooding and were forced to move out of her home, we hired a contractor to replace the wood floors and walls, perform mold remediation, etc., and, in the process, decided to freshen our stone floors and countertops. This is where the nightmare began.

There were numerous problems with all of the stonework, but the travertine in the entry and dining room was the worst. The contractor made excuses for the poor workmanship and told us it was because the floors were "old floors." The travertine is 17 years old, and looked better before they began.

This is when Chris from Sir Grout came out, assessed the situation, gave us a quote (which was less than what the other company had charged), and set up an appointment, and I'm so glad he did.

Manny and Chris came out yesterday, arriving right on time. They stripped all the heavy sealant, polished the travertine to a beautiful semi-gloss, as requested, and replaced all the rugs and furniture perfectly.

The floor looks brand new! They were so pleasant and professional, and the whole experience has not only been great but has also renewed my faith in humanity! I will definitely choose Sir Grout again and recommend them to anyone I know who needs this type of service.

I am very pleased with the outcome of Sir Grout's restoration work on our travertine shower stall, which had been developing mold.

Randy did meticulous work. It looks far better than I had imagined — practically brand new, without needing to be reinstalled. He also took time to explain how best to take care of it and all of our stone surfaces going forward. I highly recommend Sir Grout.

Frankly, I couldn't be happier. They identified some issues that the builder kind of cut corners on. Redid my shower floor with an epoxy grout that is just much better quality than the cracking grout and the caulk that was there before.

Knocked out the kitchen counters as well. Showed up on time, worked efficiently, and was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend.
