At Sir Grout of Dallas Fort Worth, we've come to realize that not everyone wants work done for the same reason. The story of a couple we met a little while ago serves as a great example of this:

Recently, our help was requested at the warm, inviting, and very well decorated home of a couple living in a beautiful neighborhood in North Central Texas. The couple had purchased their home seven months ago and they were now comfortably moved in, although they were not yet satisfied with some of the home's aesthetic aspects. The couple's main concern was the tile and grout floor in their kitchen. They knew they needed to call Texas's leading Dallas grout recoloring company, Sir Grout of Dallas Fort Worth, in order for it to be restored.

When we arrived at their home, the couple led us into the kitchen so we could further analyze the floor. We discovered it to be composed of very nice 18" ceramic tiles with a decorative inset. We then examined the floor to check for any cracks, damage, or loose tiles and to ensure that the floor had been laid properly.

From speaking with the new homeowners, we found out that the biggest issue they both had with the floor was its discolored grout. However, they each had a different reason for wanting the grout to be recolored. The dirty grout reminded the wife of the previous owners. For this reason, the floor just didn't feel clean to her. Since our technicians are experts at cleaning and renewing hard surfaces, taking care of her concerns would be no problem for us. The husband, however, wouldn't be as easy to please. He was so unhappy with the floor that he wanted it to just be replaced. The couple told us they ultimately decided against this because they knew how costly it would be, how big of a mess it would make, and that it would be an enormous inconvenience.

We continued to probe the husband on his displeasure with the floor until we discovered the real root of his problem with it. To him, the uneven pattern in the tile inset said sloppy work. He strongly believed this couldn't be fixed without putting in a whole new floor. Although it took some time, we were eventually able to win the husband over to the fact that this was not the case. We assured him we could make both the dirty grout and his perception of the floor's sloppiness disappear, all without blowing up the floor or his bank account. As soon as he gave us his approval, we went straight to work cleaning the floor and color sealing its grout.

When we were finished, the results were wonderful! The dirty grout was now uniform in color and completely spotless. We were able to transform the dirty, unattractive ceramic tile floor into a beautiful floor that now fit in with the rest of the couple's elegant Dallas estate. Even the husband pointed out that it finally looked the way it was supposed to.

Despite the wife and husband having different reasons for wanting their ceramic floor to be restored, they told us they could definitely agree on one thing – their satisfaction with the high quality of our work. We said our goodbyes and they promised to call us again if they needed more work done on any of their home's hard surfaces in the future.

How are the ceramic tile floors in your own home looking? Not happy with how the previous owner left them? No problem! Just call (972) 457-3116 to schedule an appointment with us. We hope to hear from you soon!
